Emotional interview: Mike Tyson

When mike Tyson was questioned he seemed guilty. He didn’t like the fact that what was said during the interview was fact. His reaction seemed angry and had quite a temper with the guy that was interviewing him. As you can see in the print screen above this is the point when the interviewer asked Mike Tyson the leading question and Mike Tyson face expression changed was really bad. It seemed like Mike Tyson was angry and did not like that type of question. The leading question seemed to change mike Tyson feelings in that interview because he didn’t want to talk about the past, he wanted to forget about it and move on.

Mike Tyson communication skills started off very good. However when the interviewee finished ask the question Mike Tyson even more then he sounded aggressive and started to use inappropriate language which sounded offensive and he was talking informally, I don’t think this was very professional of him because he was using foul language in front of the audience. He kept eye contact with the man interviewing him. His body language wasn't too bad. He was moving his hands around whilst speaking to the other person and pointing who may show that he was getting frustrated however he wasn’t being rude and pointing. His voice tone was rising when he was asked different questions. However the body language for the interviewer was formal he kept smiling at Mike Tyson he was relaxed and confident. As you can see in the print screen below that is the point when Mike Tyson was swearing at the interviewer but the interviewer kept clam and try to get along with Tyson. In print screen2 the interviewer was not really happy at the end of the interview as you can see when he try to end the interview looking at his facial expression seems really annoyed with Tyson.

The interview was emotional because it was all about Mike Tyson past. I’m guessing he was asked this question because the audience and other watching at home wanted to know more about his past and maybe wanted to hear his thoughts about this. I think mike Tyson is a brave person because he still protected himself against this 'case'. He never let people get to him through times like this; however he does seem like a person who can’t control his anger. I think for the interviewer it did not go as planned for him because he never got out what he wanted from Mike Tyson. I think the interviewer had much more questions to ask Mike Tyson but that one leading question took up the interview.

Interpretive interview: Obama https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNyd34TPXUg

During this interview Obama entered with confidence in him he had a little dance to the music before sitting down. Also the interviewer looked so happy when Obama entered. The interviewer welcomed Obama with his favourite song as he said “ he wanted to make him feel at home”. Obama started of with a joke saying “ how come you’re so higher then me” to make the audience laugh. The body language shows that they both enjoyed speaking to each and they both was convertible to speak to each other. They both had a smile on they face when speaking to each other.

During the interview the interviewer asked Obama “Do you farcically tweet yourself or do you have somebody to tweet for you?” this is a closed question that the interviewer asked Obama. When he asked Obama his face changed from how it was from my point of view. However the body language started to change during the interview the interviewer starts to point when his talk and Obama starts to point when his giving his answer back as you can see in the print screens I have provided. Some people might think its a bad thing but when watching the interview it seems fine because they both still laughing and smiling. The interviewer builds a nice report with Obama. During the interview Obama point out a member of the audience and says “he’s my age somebody my generation ” this makes the audiences laugh. The interviewer asks Obama “Do you text?” this is a open question. Obama says “he don't text he but still emails” and he has a blackberry phone still and the audience laugh and the interviewer makes a joke out of him saying “One guy has a blackberry” Obama gives information out about why he cant use phones with recorders in for security reasons. Obama also talks about his kids about going on social media tells them not to do stupid things. He brings in his wife Michelle says how him and his wife speak to they kids.

Informational interview: talk about E-cigs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RwSU1_aVrA

They use open and close questions which are the key questions, here are some of the questions that have been used:• What's the problem with e-cigs? This is an open

question as the other person has answered this question in full. “this is a problem because there is nicotine in the e-cigars, as they don’t want people to become addicted to nicotine….”

This interview is a multiple interview as its set in a discussion and there are three people within the interview. As you can see in the opposite picture. As well as a multiple interview it is hard use as it uses factual figures that describe how many people are using the e-cigs. In addition they interview further into the interview to view people who use the e-cigs and how they are finding it.

During the interview communication skills are used as the interview is formal language, as well as this the body language is formal as all people are confident and comfortable in the way they are sitting and the way they are using their hands.

As well as the body language active listening is used as there are no interruptions and all people listen carefully to the question and the answer and allow enough time for the person to answer.

The journalistic context is news a this is part of the BBC one news and is based on e-cigs as they have provided an important person who acknowledges more information in e-cigs.

The purpose of the interview was to inform those people who are unsure about e-cigs that they are better than buying cigarettes for a short term as they can be affective after a long term. This was done by interviewing a person and by presenting information for the audience.
