Tethered Cellular HandsetsAny GSM cellular device that looks like a modem in Windows can potentially be used to make a connection with the Global Network Client.

• This setup varies from device to device, but a typical scenario involves connecting the phone with a USB cable to the computer and installing the right drivers

• The software automatically detects and configures the modem prior to connection

•The Global Network Client is able to get signal strength, provider, roaming status, etc. from the handset when it is not connected
