Incorrect logo useAdherence to these guidelines will ensure that the integrity of the EmmaChengDesign identity is maintained in all applications and across all channels. �e simplest way to follow these guidelines is to use the approved digital artwork for all variants of the logo, and use good judgment in applying them. �e examples shown below demonstrate some scenarios that should be avoided when using the logo.
Do not change the logo outline to color-�lled
Do not change the thickness ratio of the logo outline
Do not stretch or distort the logo
Do not change the color of the logo outline, except CI color, Black and White
Do not add a shadow to the logo
Do not re-create the logo using other typefaces
Do not place the logo inside a shape
Do not skew the logo
Do not place the logo over a background, image, or texture that might inhibit legibility
Do not twist an angle of the logo

A 02.01 Basic Design ElementsRecommended Minimum Size and Minimum Staging Area for Type and Graphics
Recommended Minimum Size�e EmmaChengDesign logo may be reduced to a minimum width of 30mm.
Minimum Staging Area�e minimum staging area speci�cation relates to theminimum distance of type and graphics to the EmmaChengDesignlogo - and not for the distance to an edge of a product or print item. �e Minimum clear space is equal to 1/2 the height of the letter ‘E’.
To most e�ectively communicate the EmmaChengDesign brand, a minimum amount of space is to be left clear of symbols, logos, body text and icons. �is does not apply when applying the EmmaChengDesign logo in isolation to the side of a package, banner or sign, or to sub-branding. Refer to the relevant sections for explanation and allowable placement of the logo to an edge within a given space.
