RAMP&SOAK APPLICATION WITH ESM-xx50 SERIES

PROCESS CONTROLLERS

ESM Series all products are same as functuional. They have only different dimensions.

WHAT IS RAMP&SOAK ?:RAMP&SOAK is to reach the heat set value that you wanted and waiting for on this set value. ESM-xx50 series devices has 8 steps RAMP&SOAK and device remains this steps according to program.

Example parameter values (for Step-1):StrA : 00.00Rsto : Tolerance value of profile RStY : 0 (1-4 steps selected.)PU-1 : 50,0° (First target temperature set)Tr-1 : 00.50 (reaching time of PU-1 )TS-1 : 00.20 (waiting time on first target temperature set)

Almost ESM-xx50 series devices can be run only one rampToo. Its enough for this status only give a time value StrA.

This device goes on by PSET value end of this RAMP.

IMPORTANT:To do RAMP&SOAK applcations on ESM-xx50 series devices, you must configure “RUN” mode in the RSSL parameters group from RUN LIST menu.ORYou canSTART/STOP by using connected external button with EMI-x00 module (Installed in to the device)Refer to back page for example button connection to module.

NECESSARY PARAMETERS:

PASS OPEr or PASS tECH => rmP SOA

StrA parameter : This parameter is described how many time will be reach on

PSET value. If parameter value is 1 hour, device reachs to PSET value in the 1 hour. This parameter can be described from 00hr 01 mins to 99hrs 59mins.

rStO parameter : It’s RAMP&SOAK deviation tolerance value. If actual

temperature value deviates from PSET values as tolerance value RAMP is stopped. When actual temperature value come to normal tolerance limits, RAMP goes on operate.

rStY parameter : In this parameter described profile control steps types. Ramp

can be selected 1-4, 5-8 and 1-8 steps.
