IFC’s fourth annual Emerging Markets Venture Forum

will once again bring together an unmatched group

of emerging market entrepreneurs, global investors,

technology leaders and executives to connect and

exchange insights on the latest technology trends,

promising innovations, and how venture capital can

spur impact in emerging markets.

This year’s Forum will follow a special one-day

World Bank Group conference on Disrupting the

Gender Divide — a unique platform that aims to

bridge Silicon Valley with developing markets and

explore how disruptive technology can be harnessed

to empower women around the world and foster

partnerships and investment opportunities.

The Emerging Markets Venture Forum is by invitation only, and brings together approximately 150

C-level participants from across the globe, including executives from large tech companies, start-

ups, investors and strategic partners. The audience for the Gender Conference and the Venture

The Forum will be opened by World Bank Group president Jim Yong Kim and include a dynamic

program of panel discussions, ignite talks, and fireside chats. Networking time will be scheduled

between the various sessions and during a special dinner reception.
