Training Outlines
This course is specifically designed for the Chief Warden, Deputy Chief Warden or Emergency Coordinator, who are required to respond to any type emergency in the workplace. This training is performed in conjunction with Warden/Emergency Officer Skills training and evacuation exercises, in order to form a fully trained and competent Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). Staff should take part in fire and safety training skills sessions at least every 6 months.
The course runs for approximately 60 minutes. The training covers the roles and responsibilities of the Chief Warden Group, coordinating the operations of an Emergency Control Organisation, Incident control, use of on-site communication & alarm systems, risk assessments, human behaviour in an emergency, liasing with attending Emergency Services and return-to-normal processes.
