Spyro Gyra - In the second year of jazz at the Emelin, we’ve upped the ante. Spyro Gyra kicks off an incredible series in November that also includes the sounds ofcontemporary jazz by Ben Williams.

Parsons Dance Company - This acclaimed dance company opens our stellar dance series and continues with an outstanding performance by Elisa Monte Dance (see cover photo!).

10,000 Maniacs - A band that defined an era! There’s more rock ‘n’ roll, too: David Bromberg’s back, and the Malone Brothers are here for the first time.

The Vienna Boys Choir - It’s impossible to watch this international ensemble without sheer joy. The voices of the boys soar in the Emelin’s acoustically perfect setting!

Mixing Tchaikovsky’s original score with music by Duke Ellington, Glen Miller and others, The Bang Group turns the sugar-coated ballet into a percussive piece of dance theatre. Bubble wrap, jazz standards, and takeout Chinese noodles get stir-fried with plain old lovely dancing in this sweet but subversive riff.

After 30 years in the business, this legendary band continues to deliver powerful, driving bluegrass with a rock-influenced edginess that distinguishes its music from any other. Featuring the remarkablebanjoist Sammy Shelor, perhaps the most influential banjo player of his generation and the winner of the 2011 Steve Martin Award for banjo excellence, the LRB is truly one of the greatest bands in bluegrass.

The Travelin’ McCourys arose out of the amazing Del McCoury Band, the most awarded band in the history of bluegrass, when Del decided to forego “travelin’” every so often. On those occasions, the rest of the group – Ronnie McCoury on mandolin, Rob McCoury on banjo, Jason Carter on fiddle and Alan Bartram on bass – recruit an outstanding guest artist on guitar and proceed to take traditional and modern bluegrass in their own direction. Different, exciting, unpredictable, and always entertaining!

Grammy Award winner John Hammond is one of the world’s premier acoustic blues artists. Hutchinson Parkway: Exit 23-S. Follow Mamaroneck Avenue south through the Village of Mamaroneck to the end. Right onto Boston Post Road. First right onto Library Lane.

Interstate 95 (Northbound): Exit 18-A (Fenimore Road). Right onto Fenimore Road. Straight to end. Left onto Boston Post Road. Second left onto Library Lane.

Interstate 95 (Southbound): Exit 18-A. Follow Mamaroneck Avenue through the Village of Mamaroneck to the end. Right onto Boston Post Road. First right onto Library Lane.

Train: Metro North New Haven Line to Mamaroneck Station. Schedule information is available at mta.info or by calling 800.638.7646 or 212.532.4900. The Emelin is a 5-minute walk from the station, and taxis are available at station.

Walking Directions from Train Station: From northbound side of station, walk down hill (Halstead Avenue). Turn left onto Mamaroneck Avenue. Second right onto Prospect Avenue. First left onto Library Lane.

Parking: Free parking is available after 6pm, and all day Sunday, on the upper level of the Prospect Avenue municipal parking garage, opposite the police station. Metered parking is available 9am to 6pm Mon - Sat along the perimeter of the upper level only. Never park on the lower level. Parking is also available on local streets (regulations are posted). Additional parking is available during select performances at St. Thomas Church on Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

Important InformationBox Office Hours: The box office is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm. The Box Office opens at least 2 hours prior to any scheduled performance and remains open until intermission.

Handling Fees: A handling fee of $3 per ticket is applied to all tickets purchased by phone, fax, mail or online. An additional internet fee of $4 per order is applied to online purchases. No fees are applied to tickets purchased in person at the Box Office window.

Wheelchairs: Wheelchairs can easily be accommodated with advance notice. Please call the Box Office for information.

Children: Children are required to have tickets, separate seats and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Group Rates: Groups of 20 to 49 enjoy a 10% discount. For groups of 50 or more, we are pleased to offer a 15% discount. Please call the Box Office to place group orders.

Rush Tickets: Student rush tickets are available for certain performances. Call the Box Office for information.

Tickets as Contributions: If you are unable to use your tickets, please return them to the Box Office before the performance date (accepted until 1 hour before curtain). We will issue a tax-deductible contribution receipt.

The best available seats for the performances of your choice will be assigned in the order received. Seats subject to availability. If you wish to sit with friends, please include all orders in the same envelope. Programs and artists subject to change. No refunds for changes in series events. Refunds are not given for inclement weather unless an event is canceled and not rescheduled within the same season. All sales are final.
