What em.dose doem.dose software calculates the peak skin dose and skin dose map for interventional radiology procedures.

em.dose is a multiplatform software that calculates the dose delivered to skin for any interventional radiology procedure. Using DICOM data, it computes each frame of the exam to cumulate the peak skin dose and the skin dose map. Thus, whether you are using DICOM RSDR or the DICOM image sequences, you get the total dose and the dose map that integrates all the physics (scatter, attenuation) and exam characteristics.

And because communication is important, em.dose provide pedagogical data to discuss with your team.

We constantly improve em.dose algorithms and now em.dose is able to take into account 3D acquisition.

We know that the quality of results is your priority. Thus,em.dose software was thoroughly validated in a clinical setting.

You get the peak skin dose without measurement. You can read the skin dose map with any open source software and master your input data and results. On the figure, one of the dose map was obtained for renal ATP with a 2900 mGy air-kerma.
