CubeSAT • A CubeSat is a type of miniaturized satellite
for space research that usually has a volume of exactly one liter (10 cm cube), has a mass of no more than 1.33 kilograms,[1] and typically uses commercial off-the-shelf components for its electronics.
• Radio Aurora Explorer - RAX CubeSAT was made by SRI.rch
• SRI, in collaboration with the University of Michigan, designed the RAX mission and spacecraft to investigate the causes of turbulence in the Earth's ionosphere, a portion of the upper atmosphere that is ionized by solar radiation. A second RAX spacecraft has been planned for launch in September 2011 on a Delta-II rocket.

– Proportional = Unregulated – Regulated models usually have lower ripple – Proportional models are usually lower cost and in a smaller package
