Intent to Contribute Statement:
Exploration of the 1st Caritas Process: EMBRACE-Altruistic Values and Practice Loving Kindness with Self and
Others. Developed an acronym for EMBRACE. Empathy, Mindfulness, Balance, Reaching Out, Acceptance,
Caring, Exceptional Service.
We will make a poster depicting the various methods we employ caring science principles, what we have done at
our caring science meetings, how we incorporate caring principles into patient care.
