EPIC AdventuresIn the dictionary, the word “epic” is defined as

extending beyond the usual or ordinary, especially in size or scope. In our project, EPIC stands for Embedded Practices and Interventions with Caregivers

Based on these two uses of the EPIC, please take a minute to think about how you would complete the sentence below. You might want to write down your response. We will discuss as a group.

builds parent capacity to provide child learning opportunities during everyday

routines and activities?


With regard to parents/caregivers…

What would a parent/caregiver need to know and experience so that they feel confident in their ability to support their child’s learning in everyday activities and routines when the EI provider is not around?
