2. Create forums for thinking together as well as systems for sharing information

3. Create real dialogue about cutting edge issues and information

Some of the key basic elements to consider:

Find a well-respected community member to coordinate/facilitate the community.

Make sure people have time and encourage participation.

Get key thought leaders involved.

Develop an active passionate core group.

Build personal relationships among community members.

Create a value for each and every user, in their participation in the community.
