Shock News: The World Hasn’t gone Mad!

Little Prince George of Cambridge must be over-awed at the successes of the proud nation he is born to lead.

Whilst in the Royal womb, a second Briton has won the Tour de France, a Scot has won Wimbledon, the British & Irish Lions have won their first Test series

since 1997 .. and all this on top of last Summer’s golden run for Team GB at the Olympics!

But last Sunday proved that at least in Spice Dragon Boating, some things do stay reassuringly the same. Despite entering 7 of the 12 teams, Team Spice West

Midlands failed again to lift the trophy and banish the “ghosts” of 7 long years in the waiting!

However, we do congratulate our teams “G” and “A” who came tantalisingly in 2nd and 3rd place to save our

honour. Also, most importantly of all, it was an absolutely brilliant weekend, on and off the water

– and that’s another thing we hope never changes!

As ever, this Bulletin is designed to give you a quick overview of what is happening this week in Spice.

“Anything in blue - should click through”.
