Sending copies A major benefit of email is that you can

send one email to many people

Saves time

You can write one email inviting friends to a party and send it to all of your contacts in one go

Cc… Carbon Copy

Send a copy of a message to someone who would be interested, but is not directly involved

Has its origin from the days of manual typing where typists would use carbon paper to produce a 2nd copy of a document
