➡ Customize your email signature, link to LinkedIn/blog ➡ When asking for meeting, recommend 2 days & 2 times ➡ Connect people who can collaborate, link to LinkedIn
profiles ➡ Follow up within 24 hours ➡ Don’t make lame excuses ➡ Keep it short - ideally 1 phone screen ➡ Subject lines: aim for 4-7 short words ➡ Paragraphs: 2-3 sentences ➡ Be respectful but more importantly brief ➡ SPELLCHCEK, awlays ➡ Have a reasonable, realistic ask ➡ A “too big of an ask” can be used to force a smaller “yes” ➡ Hyperlink when relevant ➡ Don’t abuse special characters (-,.!?*# ➡ Simple is better ➡ Embed screenshots if relevant
