What an amazing day the Middle Syndicate had at the

Island Bay Marine Centre on Monday 12 March! We were greeted by Judy, Dr Victor and Eddie the Shark

and treated to an incredible morning of rocky shore discovery. A huge thank you to all the fantastic parents who came with us and helped keep us all safe (and were

such good sports about wearing the funny sea hats!). Without them we wouldn't have been able to go down to explore the rocky shore which was incredible! Who knew

there was so much just living in the rocks - we found lots of awesome and interesting creatures, like starfish,

crabs, anemones, glass shrimp, rock fish, whelps, tiny periwinkles and sea snails. We will remember

our trip there forever! Room 2
