VENUE GENERAL INFORMATIONWe look forward to welcoming you to the Somerset County Cricket Club, Taunton. We ask foryour co-operation and request you abide by the following guidelines designed to assist you:

DO’SDo keep your ticket with you at all times.Do be in your seat by 5.55pm.Do allow ample time to take advantage of the toilet facilities.Do bring waterproof clothing.Do put any rubbish in the bins provided for you. Do look out for official vendors and concession stalls.Do avoid unlicensed traders outside of the ground offering inferior goods.Do tune into local radio stations for the latest road updates.

DON’TSDo not bring food or drink of any sort into the ground. There will be security checks inplace and items may be confiscated.Do not arrive with any form of audio or visual recording equipment.Do not put up umbrellas during the concert performance.Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle.

ACCESSAccess to the stadium will commence at 4.00pm.Please enter by any of the three entrances to the ground. From here follow the signagearound the ground to find the stand, block, row and seat indicated on your ticket.

SEATINGSeats for the performance may be covered or uncovered.The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.Please bring clothing appropriate to the expected weather conditions.Please note that there will not be a left luggage or cloakroom facility at the ground.

LATECOMERSThe concert will commence at approximately 6.05pm. Please be seated by 5.55pm.Please allow plenty of time for your journey and for parking and transfer, as well asgetting to your seat.Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point in the performance.

REFRESHMENTSA range of catering facilities offering a variety of food and drink will be available withinthe ground from 4.00pm onwards.Please note there will be NO access to credit or debit card machines. Cash machines will NOT be available within the ground.

NO CAMERAS OR TAPE RECORDERSPlease do not bring cameras, video recorders or tape recorders, as these will not bepermitted within the ground.

FIRST AIDFirst Aid points are situated within the ground and are clearly signposted. Any stewardwill be pleased to direct you.

TRAVELING BY CARROAD CLOSURESPlease note there will be road closures in operation in and around the vicinity ofSomerset County Cricket Ground.

PARK AND RIDETwo Park and Ride facilities will be in operation on the day of the event, both of whichwill be clearly sign posted, please follow the signs for Elton John Park and Ride.

Those traveling along the M5 Corridor (North and South) are advised to use TheGateway Park and Ride (situated at junction 25 of the M5). Those traveling from theNorthwest and Southwest (A38 and A358) should use the Silk Mills Park and Ride.

Services before the concert will commence at 3.15pm (The Gateway) and 3.45pm (SilkMills) and provide a continuous service until the show commences. Buses will runevery 5 minutes and cost £2.50 per person.

Buses from The Gateway will drop off passengers outside the ground on Priory BridgeRoad. Buses from Silk Mills will drop off passengers outside the ground on St JamesStreet.

After the event Park & Ride buses will be parked outside the ground for the returnjourney and commence at 10.00pm. The last bus to Silk Mills will leave St James Streetat 10.45pm. The last bus to The Gateway will leave Priory Bridge Road at 11.18pm.

We would encourage those traveling by car to use these facilities.

OTHER PARKINGA number of other parking sites are located in and around the centre of Taunton.Please note that due to the Bank Holiday and Diamond Jubilee Celebrations car parksin Taunton will be busy.

PARKING FOR PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDSA limited number of spaces will be reserved at Somerset County Cricket Club andpre-booking will be required for these spaces by calling 0845 337 1875.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTWe are keen to promote alternatives to traveling to the concert by car in order tominimise impact on environment, local neighbours and the highway network.We note that the late nature of the finishing time and the Bank Holiday weekendmeans a relatively limited public transport network will be in operation.

Please check with rail and bus providers before you travel.
