Need Christmas all wrapped up?We can help…As well as the gift and decoration ideas, at Elsie & Fleur we offer handmade or illustrated Christmas cards and tags created by crafts people and illustrators based in the South West.

To add to this, we stock a range of Christmas wrapping paper featuring designs by the wonderful Westcountry illustrator, Angie Spurgeon.

But that’s not all…we also provide a gift-wrap service for those short on time using Angie’s paper and we can dress your gifts with British designed and made ribbons.

Our last ordering day for guaranteed Christmas delivery is Thursday, December 19, 2013.

Welcome to Christmas with Elsie & FleurElsie & Fleur is a new online boutique for food, garden, home and lifestyle products that have been created with love by artisan crafters and makers based in the Westcountry.

It was born out of a desire for people to be able to buy items that are often unique but don’t carry a hefty price tag. All the products are being sold to support micro businesses, run by kitchen table entrepreneurs and mumpreneurs - the economic life blood of Great Britain.

Our aim is to offer people the chance to buy unusual, handmade, yet affordable, items from the comfort of their own homes.

We have a price ceiling on products of no more than £40 per item. The website launched earlier this year (2013). Our Christmas stock is now available and we’ll be looking at new ranges each season.

We’re offering a ‘happiness guarantee’ to customers and suppliers alike so relationships are mutually beneficial and enjoyable to all. There will be a no quibble returns policy for customers, for example. Unlike similar websites for British-made artisan products, we will handle all customer liaison and order fulfilment in-house.

Our suppliers include artisan food producers, card makers, illustrators, sewing geniuses, workers with felt, crafters who make things from driftwood, glass workers and a potter.

As Britain has lost much of its home manufacturing industry, we appreciate our makers may source some of the components they use for their products in other countries. All the items stocked on our website are designed and put together by hand or have been designed and printed in this country.
