At approximately 10:30 a.m., he will visit Cereso Estatal No. 3 prison, where he will spend 90 minutes visiting inmates, their families and religious leaders who serve the prison.

The pope is scheduled to celebrate a two-hour Mass at the old fairgrounds next to Estadio Olimpico Benito Jurez. (Benito Jurez Olympic Stadium). About 220,000 people are expected to attend the free Mass.

At noon he will be at Colegio de Bachilleres Gymnasium to meet with employees and business leaders of the maquiladora industry.

SEMINARY

The pope will have a private lunch with seminary offi cials from Seminario Conciliar de Ciudad Jurez. The pope will be there for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

AIRPORTPope Francis is expected to arrive at Abraham Gonzlez International Airport.

The pope is scheduled for a head of state send-off at the airport where he will be greeted by religious leaders and Mexican authorities, including President Enrique Pea Nieto.

It's finally official: Pope Francis willvisit Jurez on Feb. 17.

The announcement Saturday morn-ing was coordinated by officials in theJurez and El Paso dioceses, as well asthe Vatican.

Our diocese of Ciudad Jurez isshowing great joy for the coming visit ofhis holiness Pope Francis, who will bewith us on Feb. 17, 2016, Jurez BishopJos Guadalupe Torres Campos said inSpanish during a news conference at theSeminario Conciliar de Ciudad Jurez."Its a great occurrence, one that was im-possible to image in the past and one thattoday becomes a reality.

The bishop said he has spoken with of-ficials from the El Paso and Las Crucesdioceses and is expecting visitors fromthe neighboring cities.

During a news conference at theCatholic Diocese of El Paso, BishopMark J. Seitz said, "He's due to arrive atthe (Jurez) airport at 10:30 a.m. and willhave about 5,000 people there. There willbe a small welcoming committee and Iam very honored that the Bishop JosGuadalupe Torres Campos has invitedme and Bishop Oscar Cant from LasCruces to a be a part of it," he said.

"It shows how close we are with theDiocese of Jurez and the new bishop,"he added.

Francis is scheduledto celebrate Mass with thousands in attendance in the Chamizal park in Jurez, which is near the Rio Grande. The visit to Jurez will be thepope's final stop onhistrip to Mexico in early 2016.
