Introduction to ELMO!

• After receiving ELMO, I raced to work on the next day to connect the newest addition of our technology family.

• To ensure that ELMO was functioning properly, I took a quick still capture of myself!

The Many Uses of ELMO• ELMO has been such a

welcoming addition to our classroom.

• ELMO is great for:• Displaying teacher

notes as students can copy easily & quickly.

• Enlarging text so that students can follow along with me.

• Projecting Morning Assignments, thus students are able to complete as soon as they arrive to class.

The Many Uses of ELMO!

• In Language Arts, the students were able to use ELMO to actively participate in a lesson on Main and Helping Verbs.

The Students Use ELMO!• ELMO also assisted the

students with a math lesson by displaying a blank ruler on the InterWrite board.

• This allowed them to fill in measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch.

• They also, learned how to zoom in on a ruler to identify a specific answer.

• Additionally, ELMO allowed our class to photograph students at the board as they explained their answers to the class.
