With basic concepts in place, we can now understandalmost every word in Revelation 13.

Satanic Control of God’s Footstool

Revelation 13:1­10 “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, andsaw a beast (empire) rise up out of the sea (of people, Rev17:15), having seven heads and ten horns (The Holy Land iscentral in Bible prophecy so this beast is the various nationsthat controlled the Holy Land during the Christian era), andupon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name ofblasphemy.  And  the  beast  which  I  saw  was  like  unto  aleopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear  , and hismouth as the mouth of a lion (Greece, Medo­Persia, Babylonor today’s Syria, Iran, Iraq, i.e., the Islamic hegemony): andthe dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat, andgreat authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were

wounded unto death (at the Battles of Tours and Vienna);and his deadly wound was healed (after 1948­1967 the newJihad begins):  and  all  the world  (the nations  surroundingIsrael) wondered after the beast. And they worshipped thedragon (Satan) which gave power unto the (Islamic) beast:and they worshipped the (Islamic ) beast, saying, Who is likeunto  the beast? who  is able  to make war with him? Andthere was given unto him a mouth speaking great things andblasphemies (against God who created the Universe); andpower was given unto him to continue (controlling the HolyLand)  forty  and  two  months  (of  day­years,  from  688  to1967). And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,to  blaspheme his  name  (saying God has no Son),  and histabernacle  (the  temple  mount),  and  them  that  dwell  inheaven.”  (All  believers  are  now  spiritually  seated  in  theheavens with Christ, Ephesians 1:3)

Revelation 13:6­10  “And  it was given unto him to make warwith the saints (the 1st Jihad), and to overcome them (fromIndia to Spain): and power was given him over all kindreds,and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earthshall worship him (about the world as known to  John, Israeland  the  surrounding  nations  of  the Middle  East),  whosenames are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slainfrom the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, lethim  hear.  He  that  leadeth  into  captivity  shall  go  intocaptivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed withthe sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

Revelation Thirteen is primarily aboutthe 1278.34 years

Islam controlled Jerusalem.But within that account

is a little prophecyabout a “Two-horned Beast”

who would be in Islam’s presenceduring that time.

But This Lamb Does!

Revelation 13:11­14 “And I beheld another beast coming up outof the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb (Greek: •kνιον,arnion,  a  little  lambkin),  and  he  spake  as  a  dragon.  And  heexerciseth  all  the  power  of  the  first  beast  (LBL) before him(Greek, gνώπιον, enopion, “in the sight of” or “in the presence of”),and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worshipthe  first  beast  (LBL),  whose  deadly  wound  was  healed  (thepresent Islamic Jihad). And he (Two Horns) doeth great wonders,so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth inthe sight of men,** And (Two Horns) deceiveth them that dwellon the earth by the means of those miracles (modern science)which he had power to do in the sight of the (LBL) beast; sayingto them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image(a  likeness)  to  the (Islamic) beast, which had  the wound by asword, and did live.”

The Number of the Beast

Revelation 13:15­18 “And he [Two­Horns] had power to givelife unto the image of the [Leopard­Bear­Lion] beast, that theimage [today’s revitalized Islam] of the [Islamic] beast shouldboth speak, and cause that as many as would not worship theimage of  the  [revitalized]  beast  should be killed  [which  isindeed the fate of those turning to Jesus in Islamic lands]. Andhe [the Leopard­Bear­Lion] causeth all, both small and great,rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their righthand, or in their foreheads [showing allegiance]: And that noman might buy or  sell,  save he  that had  the mark, or  thename of the [Islamic] beast, or the number of his name. Hereis  wisdom.  Let  him  that  hath  understanding  count  thenumber of the [Islamic] beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

From Revelation 13, this beast is the Leopard­Bear­Lion, the Islamic Empire in the Middle East. 

Revelation 14: 9­12 “And the third angel followed them, sayingwith a loud voice, If any man worship the (Islamic) beast andhis image (The new Jihad or possibly the Kaaba Stone), andreceive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,** The sameshall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is pouredout without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and heshall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presenceof the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And thesmoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: andthey have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast andhis image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” 

 **  In our minds we think evil thoughts       and with our hands we do them.

Revelation 16:13 “And I saw coming out of the mouth ofthe dragon (Satan), and out of the mouth of the (LBL)beast,  and  out  of  the  mouth  of  the  false  prophet(Muhammad),  three  unclean  spirits  (The  spirits  ofBabylon, Medo­Persia and Greece,  two of which arementioned  in Daniel 10:13, 20), as it were frogs: forthey are spirits of demons, working signs; which goforth  unto  the  kings  of  the whole world,  to  gatherthem together unto  the (spiritual) war of  the greatday of God, the Almighty.”

Revelation 19:20 “And I saw the (Scarlet) beast, and thekings of the earth, and their armies, gathered togetherto make war against him that sat upon the horse, andagainst his army. And the (Leopard­Bear­Lion) beastwas  taken,  and  with  him  the  false  prophet(Muhammad)  that  wrought  the  signs  in  his  sight,wherewith he deceived them that had received themark  of  the  beast  and  them  that  worshipped  hisimage: they two were cast alive into the lake of firethat burneth with brimstone.”

Revelation 20:10 “And the devil(the red dragon and the scarlet beast)

that deceived themwas cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,

where are also the beast(the Islamic empire)

and the false prophet;(Muhammad)

and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
