Trays are offered in either standard premium grade with welded corners or cost-saving economy edges. Racks or ‘outers’ can be 2 to 8 trays high and are available in a variety of sizes to suit most freezers. High-density polypropylene dividers (combs) may be formatted to store virtually any size tube or bottle and are available in 8 colours to help identify samples.

Racking for Storage Boxes

No matter what size box you use, we can store it. Choose from front access with pull-out trays in a variety of formats or a racked, side access system.

Racking for Microtitre Plates

Open or lidded, shallow or deep, all plates can be accommodated in our made-to-measure rack. Racks can store plates individually or in stacks and can be open fronted with front retaining rods (to ensure plates remain secure in the rack) or with removable front covers.

Bins for General Storage

When you need to store a wide variety of samples, Elkay stainless steel bins can accommodate virtually anything. With several lid options like drop on, hinged or lockable and the added choice of removable or fixed stainless steel dividers, we will help you make the most of your available space.

CHEST FREEZERRacking with Dividers

Racks are available in full or half height, with a choice of solid or open sides, individually wired compartments or shelves with lipped fronts and front retaining rods to ensure boxes/plates remain secure in the racks.

LABORATORY RACKS AND TRAYS TEST TUBE/WATER BATH RACKS

Elkay stainless steel test and water bath tube racks are ideal when a robust, quality solution for test tube storage is needed, either for use on top of the bench or in a freezer. All racks are autoclavable and are available with two levels, making them ideal for use with round-bottomed tubes and for taller tubes requiring additional support. A bespoke design service is available to accommodate specific bath sizes.

PETRI DISH RACKS

Available with open or solid backs, for large or small dishes. Convenient label card holders are optional on the front for easy recognition of samples.

MICROTITRE PLATE HOLDERS

For the safe and convenient storage of stacks of plates. Ideal for moving several plates within the lab or between buildings.

TRANSPORT BINS

Designed to contain potential leakage during transportation, the body of the box is fully welded with a silicon-sealed lid and a fold-down carry handle for easy carrying. The choice of a hinged or fully removable lid offers flexibility to fit your laboratory requirements, as do the additional choice of internal partitions and removable trays.

AUTOCLAVE BINS

Silicone-sealed autoclave bins are ideal for use with sharp objects or items not suitable for autoclave bags (glass, Pasteur pipettes, etc).

LIQUID NITROGEN INVENTORY SYSTEMS

Racking for liquid nitrogen vessels and dewars is offered in a variety of sizes suitable for use with all leading brands. Blood bag storage, grids, platforms and straw freezing/storage systems are also available.
