1.01 Describe the absolute and relative location of major landforms, bodies of water, and natural resources in the United States and other countries of North America.
•Relative location means to locate a place relative to other landmarks while absolute location is locating a place using a coordinate system.
•For example, you could give the relative location of St. Louis, Missouri as being in eastern Missouri along the Mississippi River southeast of St. Charles, but the absolute location of St. Louis is 38°43' North 90°14' West.

1.03 Compare and contrast the physical and cultural characteristics of regions within the United States, and other countries of North America.
•Not only is the climate a tad different but a lot of the beliefs between the United States and other countries in North America is different. We also have different flags, laws, culture, different language and many other differences. But we are all from North America a lot of people are given the same opportunities.
