Elite Athletes
Respond to their coaches
While athletes fail tend to be cynical. They believe their coaches are not leading them properly. They are unwilling to be impressed or inspired. This is expected of the phony, the snobbish, the pretenders… but it dooms an athlete when a coach tries to inspire him and he just sits there saying this is a bunch of bull.
The elite athlete does not ridicule the capacities and the ideas of the coach
Elite Athletes
Are self motivated
Understand that only they are in control of themselves so motivation is their responsibility
The only real effective motivation is internal motivation.
An elite athlete is a rarity. In order to win, an athlete’s toughest battle is within themselves. If an athlete can DREAM of victory and IMAGINE success, than they can MOTIVATE THEMSELVES.
