Object: before or after the particle Example: We did our bathroom up last year We did up our bathroom last year.
Object=pronoun it must go between the two parts of the verb. Example: We did it up by ourselves.
Some verbs can only take the object AFTER the particle. With these the pronoun also follows the second part of the verb. Example: She has fallen for the boy who lives next door. Fortunately, he has also fallen for her.
