We heard you! Earlier decisions to inform recruiting

decisions. Fewer headaches in August. Engage the high schools.

We’ve been busy planning our trip through certification season 2015…

Engaging the High Schools

• High school transcript upload launched Sept 2014. Over 100,0000 transcripts uploaded from more than

10,000 high schools thus far.

• High school tasking implemented to prompt for outstanding documents.

• Call volume from the high school community increased approximately 60%!

Total of Jan-Mar 2015 is 59% higher than Jan-Mar 2014



Earlier Evaluations

• Preliminaries started early, very early. 61,000 preliminary evaluations completed thus

far for class of 2015 vs. 26,000 last year. 24,000 Early Academic Qualifier decisions thus

far for class of 2015 vs. 10,000 last year.

• New 10 business day service standard.



Outbound Calls/Emails

• ~10,000 proactive calls to high schools this Fall/Spring. Overdue core course list updates (>18 months). Outstanding tasks for transcript submission. Address case-specific issues.

• Targeted email campaign focused on outstanding test scores and key reminders.

Academic Certification Request Program RTP-Final?

• Urgent-Released within 24 hours of request. • Standard-Released within 3 days of request.

Domestic only. Not available for international or home school.

Academic Certification Re-evaluation Request Program Used for errors, plus 1’s, revised transcript submitted. Note that re-evals for new test scores and core-course

list updates are pulled automatically – no need for a request.

Which 10 courses will the Eligibility Center use to meet the core course progression (10/7) legislation?

The courses with the most quality points will be used to meet the requirement. (e.g., the best grades). Eligibility codes will identify any specific

deficiencies. Best 10/7 will be used at every touch of the

certification. Why? • Core course updates.• Course retakes.• Identical records could look very different depending on

the timing of the review.
