KCT+ series electric submersible pumps withshredder are able to raise water containingsolid or fibrous matter from housing estates,detached houses, camp-sites, hotels, fillingstations, supermarkets, farms, food preservingindustries, paper-mills and whenever solids insuspension must be shredded.

Innovative technical solutions sensibly improveperformances, efficiency and reliability,guaranteeing a notable reduction in running andmaintenance costs.

Although limited motor power ratings are used,the high pressure created allows the wastewater to be conveyed over long distances andto overcome notable differences in level,making these pumps particularly suitable forother uses as well.

The hydraulic section is close coupled to theelectric motor making the pumping unitcompact, easy to install and reliable inoperation.

PUMP ENDThe hydraulic part consists of the impeller andpump casing. Two mechanical seals installedin series protect against ingress from thepump casing to the motor chamber.The hydraulic profiles have been accuratelydesigned to notably reduce the risk of rotatingparts becoming clogged and/or blocked bysolids that are particularly hard to shred.The hydraulic specifications can be easilyrecovered whilst the pumps are operatingsince play caused by wear between theimpeller and frontal disk can be reduced.

SHREDDERMade of very hard stainless steel, the shapeof the shredder ensures long-life and fade-free shredding capacity.No particular tools are required to replace thispart.

MOTORAsynchronous, threephase with squirrel-cage rotor, the motor is cooled by the fluid inwhich it is submerged .The motor is separated from the pump by alarge chamber partially filled with oil that actsas a lubricant for the mechanical seals and asa heat exchanger.Ensure compliance with the minimum headvalue given with the dimensions of eachindividual electric pump in order to ensure thatthe motor is correctly cooled.

SUPPORTSThe motor shaft, on which the shredder andthe impeller are mounted, is guided by twogreaselubricated bearings; the lower one supportsthe axial thrust.The rotating assembly is very compact, witha short overhung pump shaft which reducesbearing loads and ensures reliability and long life.

Les solutions innovantes adoptées garantissentune amélioration sensible des performances,des rendements et de la fiabilité, en apportantune réduction considérable des coûts defonctionnement et d’entretien.

Bien que n’utilisant que des puissances moteurlimitées, la très haute pression produite permetd’acheminer les eaux usées à de longuesdistances et de franchir des dénivelésconsidérables, et de rendre ces pompes tout àfait indiquées pour d’autres applications.

La partie hydraulique est couplée directement aumoteur électrique; c’est justement cettecompacité de construction qui les rend faciles àinstaller et fiables pendant leur fonctionnement.

PARTIE HYDRAULIQUELa partie hydraulique est constituée d’une roueet d’un corps de pompe. L’étanchéité entre lecorps de pompe et la chambre moteur estgarantie par le montage de deux garnituresmécaniques montées en série.Les profils hydrauliques ont été étudiés pourréduire considérablement la possibilité decolmatage ou de blocage des pièces tournantespar les solides particulièrement difficiles àbroyer.Les caractéristiques hydrauliques peuventfacilement être récupérées grâce au rattrapagedu jeu provoqué par l’usure entre la roue et laflasque d'aspiration.

BROYEUREn acier inoxydable haute dureté; sa formeassure la longévité et le maintien des capacitésde broyage.Le remplacement éventuel n’exige aucunoutillage spécial.

MOTEURAsynchrone, triphasé, rotor à cage d’écureuil,le refroidissement est réalisé par le liquide danslequel il est immergé.Le moteur est séparé du corps de la pompe parune large chambre remplie partiellement d’huilequi sert pour la lubrification des garnituresd’étanchéité et comme échangeur de chaleur.A fin de permettre le refroidissement correct dumoteur, il faut respecter la cote de la charged’eau minimum, indiquée dans les plansd’encombrement de chaque électropompe.

PALIERSL’arbre moteur sur lequel sont montésdirectement le couteau rotatif du broyeur et laroue, est guidé par deux roulements lubrifiés àgraisse, dont l’inférieur est dimensionné poursupporter la poussée axiale. La compacitéparticulière de l’électropompe permet laréduction du porte-à-faux de l’arbre et, parconséquent, la charge sur les roulements aubénéfice de la fiabilité et de la longévité.

Innovative soluzioni tecniche adottateassicurano un sensibile miglioramentodelle prestazioni, dei rendimenti edell’affidabilità, garantendo una notevoleriduzione dei costi d’esercizio emanutenzione.

Pur utilizzando potenze motore limitate,l’elevata pressione generata permette ilconvogliamento delle acque da smaltire alunghe distanze ed il superamento dinotevoli dislivelli, rendendo questepompe particolarmente adatte anche peraltre applicazioni.

La parte idraulica è strettamente connessaal motore elettrico e proprio questaparticolare compattezza costruttiva lerende di facile installazione e di sicurofunzionamento.

PARTE IDRAULICALa parte idraulica è costituita da girante ecorpo pompa. Lo sbarramento contro leinfiltrazioni dal corpo pompa alla cameramotore è garantito da due tenute meccanichemontate in serie.I profili idraulici sono stati accuratamentestudiati per ridurre notevolmente lapossibilità di intasamento e/o bloccaggiodelle parti rotanti in presenza di solidiparticolarmente consistenti da triturare.Le caratteristiche idrauliche possono esserefacilmente recuperate durante l’esercizio ,essendo possibile ridurre il gioco causatodall’usura tra girante e disco frontale.

TRITURATOREIn acciaio inossidabile di elevata durezza; lasua conformazione assicura lunga durata emantenimento delle capacità di triturazione.L’ eventuale sostituzione non richiedeattrezzature particolari.

MOTOREAsincrono, trifase, con rotore a gabbia discoiattolo, il raffreddamento è effettuatodallo stesso liquido in cui è immerso.Il motore è separato dal corpo pompa daun'ampia camera parzialmente riempitad'olio che funge da lubrificante per le tenutemeccaniche e da scambiatore di calore.Al fine di consentire il correttoraffreddamento del motore occorreosservare la quota di minimo battenteindicata nelle dimensioni di ogni singolaelettropompa.

SUPPORTAZIONEL'albero del motore, su cui sono montati ilcoltello rotante del trituratore e la girante, èguidato da due cuscinetti lubrificati a grasso;quello inferiore è dimensionato per lasupportazione della spinta assiale.La particolare compattezzadell'elettropompa consente ilcontenimento della lunghezza dell'alberoa sbalzo e, di conseguenza, il carico suicuscinetti a beneficio dell'affidabilità edurata.

GARNITURES MECANIQUESLa double garniture mécanique (montée desérie) est une double garantie pour le moteurélectrique. En cas de rupture de la garniturecôté pompe, le moteur ne subit aucun dommagegrâce à la présence de la garniture côté moteur.Elles sont en matériaux particulièrementadaptés aux conditions d’utilisation difficiles; lagarniture côté pompe est particulièrementrésistante aux particules abrasives.

SECURITE DE FONCTIONNEMENT- Sonde de conductivité(suivant l’équipement des modèles)La sonde de conductivité présente dans lachambre à huile signale la présence d’eau dansl’huile à travers le coffret électrique prédisposéà cet effet.Elle sert à vérifier le bon fonctionnement de lagarniture mécanique côté pompe.- Sondes thermiques(suivant l’équipement des modèles)Le moteur est doté de deux sondes thermiquescouplées en série et incorporées dansl’enroulement du stator.Reliées en série à l’alimentation de la bobine dutélérupteur elles interviennent en cas desurchauffe (supérieure à 132°C) en coupantl’alimentation jusqu’à ce que la température abaissée au moins de 15°C.

MECHANICAL SEALSThe double mechanical seal (mounted inseries) is a dual guarantee safeguarding theelectric motor. If the seal on the pump sidebecomes faulty, the motor will not be damagedthanks to the second seal on the motor side.These seals are made of particularly suitablematerials able to withstand heavy-dutyconditions; the pump side seal is made withabrasionproof materials.

SAFE OPERATION- Conductivity sensor(only on certain models)The conductivity sensor in the oil chamberwarns if there is water in the oil and transmitsthe relative signal to the appropriately presetelectric panel.This checks that the mechanical seal on thepump side operates correctly.- Thermic probes(only on certain models)The motor has two thermic probes connectedin series and installed in the stator winding.Connected in series with the power supply ofthe remote control switch coil, these probesactivate in the event of overtemperatures(exceeding 132°C), cutting off the power untilthe temperature drops at least by 15°C.

TENUTE MECCANICHELa doppia tenuta meccanica (montate inserie) è una doppia garanzia di salvaguardiadel motore elettrico.Nel caso di avaria della tenuta lato pompa ilmotore non subisce danni grazie allapresenza della tenuta lato motore.Esse sono di materiali adatti per condizioni diimpiego gravose; quella lato pompa èrealizzata con materiali particolarmenteresistenti all'abrasione.

SICUREZZA DI FUNZIONAMENTO- Sensore di conduttività( per i modelli in cui è previsto)Il sensore di conduttività presente nellacamera olio avverte della presenza d'acquanell'olio e lo segnala al quadro elettricoadeguatamente predisposto. Esso serve averificare il corretto funzionamento dellatenuta meccanica lato pompa.- Sonde termiche(per i modelli in cui sono previste)Il motore ha due sonde termiche collegate inserie ed inserite nell'avvolgimento statorico. Collegate in serie all'alimentazione dellabobina del teleruttore, in caso disovratemperatura (superiore a 132°C) esseintervengono interrompendo l'alimentazionefintantochè la temperatura non sia diminuitadi almeno 15°C.

- L'electropompe est apte à fonctionner en service continu S1 avec le moteur complétement immergé, en service intermittent S3 moteur non immergé (se reporteraux valeurs d'intermittence mentionnées dans le tableau.Le service S3 indique un fonctionnement intermittent par cycles identiques de 10 minutes. Le tableau ci-dessus indique le temps de marche du moteur enminutes pour 1 cycle de 10 minutes (Ex.: S3 = 25% chaque cycle sera composé de 2,5 minutes de marche et de 7,5 minutes d'arrêt).Voir norme CEI EN 60034-1.
