Go on a nature walk and collect items along the way
Learn about buoyancy either in your bathtub, pool or at the beach. Use different items and make predictions about whether they will sink or swim.
Use a piece of paper, a flashlight, and a magnifying glass to experiment with reflected and refracted light
Use ping pong balls and a plugged in hair dryer to experiment with air pressure and currents
Make fireworks in a glass by adding cooking oil and food coloring
Take a magnet to the beach and find the particles containing iron by dragging the magnet through the sand

Use flashcards to study multiplication
Write down the numbers 1-100 by 2’s, 3’s and 5’s
Ask each parent to empty their wallets and practice counting their money
