- They had started to struggle after a terrible discussion.

- My sister loves to prepare crisp potatoes because it is my niece’s favorite food.

5. Appeal

The power or ability to attract, interest, amuse, or stimulate the mind or emotions.

- Football is the most appealing sport among men.

6. Wheat

The grain of any cereal grass of the genus Triticum, especially T. aestivum, used in the form of f

lourfor making bread, cakes, etc., and for other culinary and nutritional purposes.

- Many new chefs are starting to use wheat to prepare their bread.

- The diamonds necklace that Laura bought was a fake and she lost all her money.

8. Hay

Grass mowed or intended for mowing.

- All of the horses in the farm are feed with hay.

9. Flute

A musical wind instrument consisting of a tube with a series of fingerholes or keys, in which the

windis directed against a sharp edge, either directly, as in the modern transverse flute, or through

a flue, as in the recorder.

- Peter is the best flute player that the musical could have found.

- The slave was found tied with a big string.

12. Clap

To strike the palms of (one's hands) against one another resoundingly, and usually repeatedly,esp

ecially to express approval

- She claped her hands to congratulate her son.

One of the divisions of a window or the like, consisting of a single plate of glass in a frame.

- The boss suggested to buy a smaller pane to put in the windows.

14. Underpaid

To pay less than is deserved or usual.

- Richard is tired of being underpaid each month, so he will give up his job.

15. Fossils

Any remains, impression, or trace of a living thing of a former geologic age, as a skeleton, footpr

int,etc.

- Several scientist hope to find new fossils to get new information about dinosaurs.

Finely sharpened, as an edge; so shaped as to cut or pierce substances readily.

- My father usually looks for a keen razor to use each day.

17. Bead

A small, usually round object of glass, wood, stone, or the like with a hole through it, often strun

gwith others of its kind in necklaces, rosaries, etc.

- Alicia has worn a bead necklace since she was 12, now she is 16.

18. Pebbles

A small, rounded stone, especially one worn smooth by the action of water.

- The field was crowded with all types of pebbles.

- The new shop has acquired assorted flavors on ice creams.

- He was keeping his medication in his unlocked drawer.
