• Elektroskandia was founded 1904 in Sweden and was part of ABB until 2008 when it was sold to the Sonepar group.
• Sonepar is an independent family-owned company with global market leadership in B to B distribution of electrical products and related services.
• Founded in 1969, Sonepar employs 43,000 associates
at 245 entities in 45 countries. • Sales totaled 20.2 billion Euros in 2015, and estimated
22 billion Euros in 2016.
• Elektroskandia started operations in China 1999 because of a request from the
telecom customer Ericsson and later became supplier to all major telecom suppliers and later also working in the renewable energy area with customers like Vestas, GE, GoldWind and others.
