We are looking for a methodical and organised individual to further streamline and automate the manufacturing of our radio broadcasting equipment. This key role within our business ensures that our in-house and overseas Production Teams have the right components, in the right quantities, at the right time. This allows us to meet our deadlines and keep our customers happy. As an important member of our Production Team you will be the starting point of the manufacturing all of our products, and so the ability to work accurately and efficiently is of the upmost importance. On a day to day basis your role would involve: ORGANISING and accurately storing components received from suppliers. SUPPLYING all the components required by the Production Teams (in-house and overseas). ENSURING that Production Teams have the right components, at the right time to meet their deadlines. SUPPORTING Research & Development and Repair Teams with their component needs. ASSISTING Manaagement by supplying accurate stock data reports. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Experience of electronic components, including package types (SOIC8, SOT23, PDIP16 etc) Experience in inventory management / goods inward and dispatch functions. A good working knowledge of inventory control / management systems. Analytical and problem solving skills, and IT literate. Possess the ability to work productively, effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
