THURBON™ is the next generation EW Data Management System (EWDMS) which provides users with the capability to conduct effective management of their EW data and intelligence. THURBON™ provides the capability to manage complex platform, sensor and weapon system data, conduct Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) analysis, EW planning and automated intercepts analysis. The data repository in THURBON™ is user-configurable. This means that users can change data structures and add new types of platform, sensor or weapon system simply and easily without the need for expensive re-design work. It has been designed from the outset to be future-proof and provides the capability to accurately define the most complex and sophisticated platforms, emitters and weapon systems. It ensures that users can provide effective operational support to 4th and 5th generation platforms and beyond. THURBON™ has been selected by the UK Defence EW Centre to be the UK’s next generation EW database.
THURBON™ is intuitive in its look and feel and users can rapidly gain experience and confidence in navigating the data structures. This reduces operator learning times and improves productivity. As well as a logical and fully relational data repository, it provides users with an instinctive and fully integrated GIS which can be used for EOB analysis, EW planning and database searches.
