PELCO PREP-EZE™ SPECIMEN HOLDERS

PELCO Prep-Eze™ specimen holders are a unique design for batch processing, fixation and staining. The PELCO Prep-Eze™ specimen holders come in 6- and 12-well configurations. The design makes for simpler handling of a larger number of specimens and reduces the volume of solutions for processing. The PELCO Prep-Eze™ is coupled with the Polypropylene Petri Dishes (Product # 36135) as an ideal combination of reagent savings and ease of use.

The PELCO Prep-Eze™ specimen holders are constructed of sturdy polypropylene and have a polypropylene mesh (420µm) welded to the bottom. The holder also contains a port for the temperature probe for temperature regulation while processing in the microwave.

Numbered mats, laminated for chemical resistance, can be used with dry erase markers for specimen identification. The PELCO Prep-Eze™ kits contain one specimen holder, ID mat and 20 polypropylene petri dishes for processing.

The PELCO Prep-Eze™ Wellplate Inserts are designed in 6-, 12-, and 24-well configurations for use with the Corning Costar™ Tissue Culture Plates (Product #’s 36168-6, 36170-12 and 36172-24). Each insert is constructed of polypropylene and contains a replaceable polypropylene mesh screen (420µm) at the bottom of each well. The PELCO Prep-Eze™ Wellplate Inserts can only be chemically sterilized. These inserts can be used for many steps of specimen processing, staining and fixation.
