On Saturday 7th November Race Co Cycles UK / E-Bikepower successfully ran the first of many e-bike demo days at the Fountain Inn pub at Clent. Conditions were very wet with heavy wind and rain battering the motorhome and the newly converted Cube e-bike race truck as we pulled into the car park. Jarno had driven the new truck all the way from Holland on its debut outing only 24 hours since landing back from Chamonix where he had been with the media for the launch of the new Cube Stereo Hybrid. We were not only very lucky to have two of the main guys from Cube (Dan and Jarno) on hand, but six brand new pre-production Cube Stereo.E-bikes that had only been built and shipped from the factory in Germany for our event at the start of the week! Muc-off also sent two representatives to help educate riders on cleansing their bikes and how to get the best out of their bikes by using the right products in the right places. With representation from Haibike and Lapierre, we had a total of fourteen e-bikes for customers to come and ride the unforgiving trails of Clent Hills. When the first group of test riders arrived everyone was excited to try out the new Bosch CX motors vs. the Yamaha system.
