ObjectivesThis project is designed to assist the students to:

• Enhance student’s skill on CAD software.

• Expose student about real situation in working

life.

• Show student the implementation of CAD.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Electric Stove

• Electric stoves generally have a thermostat, spiral/coil-shaped burners on top and heat-producing elements for baking and broiling inside.

• Electric stoves convert electricity to heat and serve as a replacement for gas stoves.

METHADOLOGY

The Software

• AutoCAD is a CAD (Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided Drafting) software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting, developed and sold by Autodesk, Inc.

used to measure the distance between two symmetrically opposing sides.

• Dimension was taken for the whole product (part by part) for the length, depth, height, radius and etc.

Conclusion

• The objective of this project were successfully achieved.

• Enhance skill of drawing using AutoCAD after faced some difficulties in drawing some complex parts in the component.

• Student had gone through real situation of creating basic drawing in designing process.

Recommendation

• Guideline such a module using AutoCAD tools more user friendly to avoid any misunderstanding.
