persons or animals.• Make sure hose and fittings are

tightened and in good condition.Never hold onto the hose or fittingsduring operation.

• Do not operate pressure washer withworn or abraded hose.

• Never attach or remove wand or hosefittings while system is pressurized.

• Injuries can result if system pressureis not reduced before attemptingmaintenance or disassembly.

• To relieve system pressure, placeon/off switch in off position, turn offwater supply, and pull gun triggeruntil water stops flowing.

• Use only hose and high pressureaccessories rated for pressure higherthan your pressure washer's p.s.i.

RISK OFELECTRICAL

SHOCK

• Water spray directed at electricaloutlets or switches, or objects con-nected to an electrical circuit, couldresult in a fatal electrical shock.

• Unplug any electrically operatedproduct before attempting to clean it.Direct spray away from electric outletsand switches.

• This product is powered byelectricity. It contains and sprayswater and other conductive liquids.Improper operation could result inelectrocution.

• The Ground Fault CircuitInterrupter (GFCI) will not functionproperly unless connected to a fullygrounded electrical circuit!

• Extension cords can lead to electricalshock.

• Always connect cordset to aproperly grounded and polarizedelectrical circuit. Your cordset isequipped with a Ground Fault CircuitInterrupter (GFCI) for your personalprotection.

• If damaged, the entire cordsetassembly must be replaced by anauthorized service center. Refer toGrounding Instructions.

• Do not use with extension cords.

Restricting any of the pressurewasher ventilation openings willcause serious overheating and couldcause fire.

Never place objects against or ontop of pressure washer. Operatepressure washer in an open area atleast 12 inches away from any wallor obstruction that would restrict theflow of fresh air to the ventilationopenings.

The powerful spray from your pressure washer is capable of causingdamage to surfaces such as wood, glass, automobile paint, auto striping

and trim, and delicate objects such as flowers and shrubs. Before spraying, check the item tobe cleaned to assure yourself that it is strong enough to resist damage from the force of thespray. Avoid the use of the concentrated spray stream except for very strong surfaces likeconcrete and steel.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONSThis product must be grounded. If itshould malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of leastresistance for electric current to reducethe risk of electric shock. This productis equipped with a cord having anequipment-grounding conductor and agrounding plug. The plug must beplugged into an appropriate outlet thatis properly installed and grounded inaccordance with all local codes andordinances.

Improper connectionof the equipment-

grounding conductor can result inrisk of electrocution. Check with aqualified electrician or servicepersonnel if you are in doubt as towhether the outlet is properlygrounded. Do not modify the plugprovided with the product-if it willnot fit the outlet, have a properoutlet installed by a qualifiedelectrician. Do not use any type ofadapter with this product.

EXTENSION CORDSUse additional length of high pressurehose instead of extension cords toavoid voltage drop and power loss tothe motor, and to prevent overheating.DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORDS.NOTE: The use of additional length ofhigh pressure hose will lower thepressure washer's PSI below 1600.

GROUND FAULT CIRCUITINTERRUPTER PROTECTIONThis pressure washer is provided witha ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)built into the plug of the power supplycord. This device provides additionalprotection from the risk of electricshock. Should replacement of the plugor cord become necessary, use onlyidentical replacement parts thatinclude GFCI protection.

5. Turn the unit off and pull the triggeron the gun to relieve any pressurefrom the hose and gun.

6. After removing the high pressurehose, restart the unit to displaceany water remaining in the pump.

This pressure washer should be storedin such a way to protect it fromfreezing. Do not store this unitoutdoors or in an area wheretemperatures will fall below 32º F. Thiscan cause extensive damage to thisunit. Drain as much water as possibleas follows:1. Stop the pressure washer, detach

the water hose, and pull the triggeron the spray handle to release thepressure in the inlet hose.

2. Restart the unit, pull the trigger, andrun until water no longer sprays outof the nozzle. (Approximately 30seconds)

3. Stop unit. Detach high pressurehose from unit. Leave hoseattached to wand to protect itagainst accidental dropping. Pulltrigger to drain water from wandand hose, and place assembly instorage.* If unit has to be stored underfreezing conditions a nontoxic R.V.antifreeze can be used to protectfrom freezing.
