IGBT RectifierEmploying the latest rectifier technology, the IGBT rectifier offers an input power factor ofgreater than 0.99, and input current distortion of less than 3%. Therefore it does not pollute theinput utility supply or other devices sharing the same utility source.IGBT Inverter with multi loop controlHigh speed IGBT inverter with multi loop control gives low output distortion and clean sinusoidal waveform for excellent performance and high reliability. Using high sampling rate possible only withDSP, output and system parameters are tightly controlled and maintained throughout the variousmodes of operations.Battery ManagementProper testing, charging, discharging and management of the battery system is very importantaspect of the UPS control system. In the NECS UPS, the batteries are constantly monitored by anintelligent battery management algorithm. Any fault detected in the batteries is immediatelyreported to the user.Paralleling CapabilityThe NECS UPS can be paralleled for added capacity or redundancy, with equal load sharing . High Efficiency ECO ModeIn situation where the utility supply is relatively stable the NECS UPS can be set to energy saving ECO mode. An efficiency of greater than 97% can be achieved. The load is never in danger as theswitching is done by high speed solid state devices.Remote managementSystem can be managed and monitor via serial communication, LAN(SNMP), GPRS(SMS). User can monitor relative data on analog style meter along with digital meters, the graphical flow of system can seen realty. User can log data, can plot graphs, can schedule the operation system. If system is connected to the LAN via SNMP card the system can be manage remotely any where in the world. If GRPS modem is used, user can controlled the system and receive the SMS for critical condition, like power-failure, low battery, overload conditions.
The LED mimic diagram indication of real time status and power flow through the UPS, LED indicates the status of major modules.The neatly displayed push buttons give function such as menu selection inverter startup and shutdownemergency shutdown and alarm.The large LCD graphical display provides an array of performance parameters, fault information and event log that are useful for troubleshooting
Communication to the outside world is never a problem with the NECS UPS. The system provides voltage-freerelay contact of common alarms, RS-485 signals for remote monitoring, and SNMP for web-based monitoring.In addition, each system comes with a standard monitoring software that can be used to monitor a single unit orunits in parallel through RS232 or Modem connection.With self-diagnosis and self-protection, audio and visual alarm indications are available and these alarmnotification can be sent by e-mail or paging to the service.
