System 5100 is supplied with various motor options. For exact maximum dimensions, please refer to the Maximum Curtain Weight Charts in the Motors & Controls section. It is essential with electrically-operated curtain tracks to choose a system which can readily cope with the specific demands to be placed on it. The most crucial factor is the total weight of the curtains to be transported by it, but then come further questions such as how the curtains are to stack, are there bends involved, ceiling or wall fix, the type of curtain heading etc.

Fitting Information

For all electrically operated curtain track systems, a connection point should be made available at a distance of no greater than 1 metre from the motor. This should be discreetly situated behind the curtain taking care that the motor will not obstruct access to the socket.

Fixing Preparation

Where the system is to be fitted to the ceiling, (recommended in most cases), the surface must be absolutetly flat. Any unevenness will cause problems in fitting the clamps and will almost certainly affect the functioning of the system.

• Motorized 2-channel curtain track system for contract as well as residential use.• Unlimited overlapping of the curtains without the need of an overlap arm due to 2-channel

profile.• Strong elegant appearance.• The system 5420 is equiped with a new motor available in two power supply options:

Motor 9020 AC (90-260V) and Motor 9030 DC (24V).• Option of integrated radio receiver in combination with the new Silent Gliss radio remote

control system.• Option of manual override (additionally combined with the integrated radio receiver).• Various other operation methods available. See motors/controls overview chart and the

specific motor variations section.• The maximum size of the system depends on fabric weight and application. Straigth

applications with single or double stack can go up to a max. width of 10m. The max. curtain weight is 44kg.

It is essential with electrically-operated curtain tracks to choose a system which can readily cope with the specific demands to be placed on it. The most crucial factor is the total weight of the curtains to be transported by it, but then come further questions such as how the curtains are to stack, etc.

Integrated radio receiver for use with Silent Gliss radio system 9940 (with motors 9021/9031)

The motors 9021 AC and 9031 DC feature an integrated radio receiver. Combined with the new Silent Gliss radio control system 9940 this system offers maximum comfort with minimum wiring.

Manual override feature with motors 9022/9032

The manual override feature is very helpful for applications where there is a high risk that the motorised curtain is operated by hand due to product unfamiliarity. This could cause product damages (Hotels, etc.). The manual override option also allows the opening of the curtain in the event of power failure and emergency. The manual override is also available with integrated radio receiver (with motor 9023/9033).

For better overlapping of the curtains, two profiles can be mounted in parallel. Therefore, a minimum distance of 76 mm must be observed between centre parts of return pulleys.
