this is the 2009 edition of the European Elation Professional Show Lighting Guide.

This edition is packed full of new products & innovations.

L.E.D. is definitely the major change in the lighting industry. LED based lightsare already wide spread and are now accepted as the normal choice. Conventional lights become even more flexible when using LED based light sources. There is no need to worry about typical RGB issues any more; with thenew Tri-LED based items there are no colored shadows or poor color mixing. OurLED products are so successful because of the efficient light output. There is noexcuse for using a standard fixture instead of an LED fixture any more!

LED based items will continue to dominate the lighting industry market. There are just so many advantages; amazing lifetime,hardly any heat, silent operation, compact size, endless color mixing, no need for dimmer racks or big power distribution racks.

As LED lighting develops so does the need to have great control options which can handle large amounts of DMX channelsin a user-friendly way. We are focused on developing multi-purpose controllers which can handle LEDs the same as conventional lights. All our newly developed and upcoming products will be equipped with artNET interfaces. This data transition protocol is easy to use and can handle large amounts of DMX channels. We believe artNET will become the newstandard in control data transition protocol.

Elation is famous for user-friendly and easy to service moving heads. We have improved our range so that you can concentrateon lighting design instead of dealing with technical issues. Modular construction, helpful software features, biggest possibleflexibility, full feature configuration and reliability are the key features of this range. We will keep on adding EWDMX supportso that you can set up a wireless DMX connection to your fixtures by a single press of a button.

Our portfolio of outdoor IP65 fixtures has increased more and more with a new controller series for custom control of architectural installations. Our easy and individually designed control solutions are specially developed for end customerusage.

Finally, the EVENT series has been met with amazing success after its launch into the market. Imagine the possibility of placingyour fixture anywhere you want, without thinking about cabling or distance. Just set up your lights where you need them,whether you want to light the outside of a building, a dark corner at the guest entrance, or maybe even a dune in the Sahara.Use your imagination and never think about cables any more. Just create.
