‘I Voted’ stickers will be proudly worn by children in response to the nation’s largest nationwide student mock presidential election on November 1.

Thousands of elementary school students around the country will cast their ‘vote’ for the next U.S. president in the Every Kid Votes! mock student election.

In partnership with the Every Kid Learns Foundation and Studies Weekly, Every Kid Votes! teaches elementary students the value of voting and civic responsibility through election-themed lesson materials and participation in a nationwide mock election.

This nationwide event will take place on November 1, 2016 at thousands of participating schools. Real-time results and live stream footage will also be available online at www.everykidvotes.org.

“If students ‘vote’ every four years as a part of their education, they are more likely to vote as adults,” said Ed Rickers, CEO of Studies Weekly and a sponsor of the mock election. “This is a great opportunity for participating schools to teach and practice informed voting—the most basic and essential act of citizenry.”
