Summary:
Starting from 19 October 2009, besides Health Care Voucher Scheme (HCVS), three
new schemes are introduced into eHealth System for claiming vaccination subsidies
for eligible patients. The eHealth System is enhanced to cope with the new schemes.
Besides Hong Kong Identity Card (HKIC) and Certificate of Exemption (EC), six
document types are accepted for different schemes.
The three new schemes are:
1. Childhood Influenza Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (CIVSS)
2. Elderly Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (EVSS)
3. Residential Care Home Vaccination Programme (RVP)
The six newly accepted document types are:
1. Hong Kong Birth Certificate(established) (HKBC)
2. Hong Kong Re-entry Permit (REPMT)
3. Document of Identity (Doc/I)
4. Permit to Remain in HKSAR (ID235B)
5. Non-Hong Kong Travel Document (VISA)
6. Certificate issued by the Births Registry for adopted children (ADOPC)
Appendix A shows the new schemes and the subsidies and appendix B shows the
document types for different schemes.

1. Claim
i. Three new schemes are available for claiming.
ii. Besides Hong Kong Identity Card and Certificate of Exemption, six
document types are added for different schemes.
iii. For CIVSS scheme, the system can retrieve recipient information with
on-line pre-filling consent number for those guardians who have already
input their child’s information from online pre-filling consent module.

This function is enhanced to support temporary accounts of different document
