• In Egypt people worked in many diferents jobs.

SCRIBES

• There were very important because they worked with pharaoh and they recored important documents.

• They were only people that could read and write.

FARMERS

• Some farmers worked in pharaoh’s house.

• Farmers grew lands. They grew vegetables, fruit and wheat.

PYRAMID BUILDERS

• They worked very hurt building lots of pyramids with very heavy stones. They also built sculptures.

MERCHANTS

• They bought and sold food and other things for egyiptian people.

• They used to buy the food that farmers grew.

SOLDIERS

• Many people were soldiers. They worked with the people of the town.

• They worked with weapons.

SERVANTS

• They worked for rich people. They carry food and clothes for them.

There were lots of jobs in ancient egypt.
