Atherosclerosis (EAVA) and Cardio Risk scientific board,

Let me welcome you all in Cardio Risk 2015 that will be held in

Hurghada Egypt 25-28 November 2015.

The meeting this year will not only cover lipidology science but,

in addition, will extend to cover many subjects related to CV risk

factors especially hypertension and DM with eminent faculty.

Looking forward to seeing you all let me wish you an enjoyable

and fruitful meeting.

Welcome Address

CardioRisk CME activities started 2011, with a series of accredited

educational meetings all over Egypt discussing assessment and management

of cardiovascular risk in view of the different national and international

guidelines.

The annual meeting this year, CardioRisk 2015, which will be held 26-28

November in Hurghada, Egypt, will celebrate the foundation of the

Egyptian Association of Vascular biology and Atherosclerosis (EAVA).

In addition to the cyclic CME activities, the annual congress and the

ongoing Egyptian risk factor and lipid project, EAVA is initiating the

CardioRisk research project including a national observational study and a

promoting program supporting researches addressing cardiovascular risk

and preventive strategies in the community.

CardioRisk 2015 scientific program will cover the recent updates in

atherosclerosis, vascular biology and cardiovascular prevention by eminent

speakers.

CardioRisk scientific committee has the pleasure to invite you to

participate and share with us the science of CardioRisk 2015 as well as the

beauty of Hurghada, Egypt.

European Atherosclerosis Society

(EAS) was founded in 1964 with the aim of “advancing and

exchanging knowledge concerning the causes, natural history,

treatment and prevention of atherosclerotic disease”.

International Atherosclerosis Society

(IAS), incorporated in 1979, promotes, at an international

level, the advancement of science, research and teaching in the

field of atherosclerosis and related diseases.

of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) designates this medical

education activity for a maximum of 22.50 hours in the Category 1 credit of

the AACME Designation.

Conference Venue MÖVENPICK HURGHADA is located, nestled in Hurghada Bay, directly on its own beach and with private access to the Red Sea. Only a ten-minute drive from Hurghada International Airport and a few minutes from the city center. The Mövenpick Hurghada is nestled in Hurghada Bay, at the Southern end of town, directly on the famous promenade, a pedestrian road, locally known as “the Mamsha”.
