These clinics are automatically added to the GCR Index and scored upon the publicly available information given about each clinic. Verified clinics have had their clinic information updated by the clinic owner or member of staff, or have been personally inspected by a GCR representative. Accredited clinics have been personally inspected by a GCR representative, and have had consultation support to collect and improve on any missing or weak data. The Global Clinic Rating employs 100's of carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the GCR Score for any particular clinic in the following areas: Clinic Expertise: This includes how long the clinic has been in existence at its current location, the clinic's accreditations, awards and certifications, how long the doctors have worked in their chosen medical fields and what are their medical studies and accreditations. Clinic Facilities: This includes both diagnostic & treatment technology available, as well as non-medical facilities. Clinic Services: This includes both medical & non-medical services that the clinic provides to its patients. The GCR Team visited the Bone Institute in November 2017 for inspection. The clinic itself has 1 treatment room and very nice waiting area and consultation room. The clinic surprised us with the expertise of Dr.Atef. During his life, he acquired many awards, certificates, and diplomas (almost 100). He is very keen to educate himself further and explore the most recent knowledge in his field and transfer his experience to the next generations. Due to his great international experience and studies taken abroad, he speaks multiple languages, and his patients can be sure about the professional attitude and treatment. Philosophy of Bone Institute is “long-term success of dental implants”. They also do hard cases, trying to find the best solutions even for complicated cases.

They treat many international patients, mainly expatriates. Dr. Sherif speaks English very well, he also speaks German and Arabic. The clinic is very well designed to ensure the patient’s comfort and it has impressional digital equipment in every room. Patients are able to watch videos/movies/pictures according to their choice. Dr. Sherif is experienced doctor with many specializations and great feedback for his work from his patients.

Smile Way Clinic 6th of October City

The GCR Team visited Smile Way November 2017 for inspection. The Clinic is located in the new part of Cairo/Giza governate. The clinic opened 10 years ago, however, is very well designed and equipped. It is special because of the combination of Dental and Dermatology clinic at one place. It has also relaxation room for patients to have some rest after their treatment. The results of their work are exceptional, and they can showcase it with their Digital Smile Design facility. They also offer patients payment in installments with 0% interest rate during 6 or 12-month period. The clinic has 2 treatment rooms and cozy waiting area with free drinks available.
