Egg Challenge Memo

To: Egg farmers across America From: Hina Khatri, President of “Egg Savers” Date: January 12, 2015 Subject: A solution to your problems Because of the delicate nature of the product of your field, I am presenting a new way to maximize your efforts. I realize that through the process of production, maneuvering, and packaging, eggs are subject to force and pressure and can potentially break. This not only slows the production of the eggs, it also wastes the product itself. With our new “Egg Savers,” it will be easier to transport your products from one place to another with the least amount of disruption. Our design features two different components that ensure egg safety. On the inside, there is a pyramid shaped compartment filled with cushioned support for the egg to be placed in. This compartment inserts into the main compartment, a cube supported with layers of tape for additional safety, as seen below in the first figure. The pyramid compartment is suspended in to the center of the cube with tape as much as possible so that it would have the least amount of contact with the surface if dropped. The nature of the double compartment is one that we found to be very beneficial when compared to each of the compartments individually. We carefully considered the fragile nature of eggs when creating this product. The finished product is shown in the second figure below.

With our new Egg Savers, it will be easier to transport your products from one place to another with the least amount of disruption. Our design features two different components that ensure egg safety. On the inside, there is a pyramid shaped compartment filled with cushioned support for the egg to be placed in. With these boxes, eggs are able to be dropped from a second story balcony and suffer no damage at all. This was tested at our facility after the production of the first Egg Saver. This was a crucial test that mimics the potential movement of eggs through production if not handled carefully. I would highly recommend this product to you and your business, so that you can gain maximum benefit from all the hard work you put into maintaining your product.
