EFC PLAYER NEWSLETTER February – March 2012 PRE SEASON TRAINING NIGHTS 2012 Monday & Wednesday 6pm – 8pm Friday night TBC Attendance records are kept and will influence team selection for all practice matches. First week back at training after Xmas and the New Year break has started with a positive attitude by all training two nights a week at this stage, which will increase to 3 nights as we move forward. I hope everyone had a good break, now is the time we all have to put our heads down and work extremely hard to prepare ourselves for the demanding and exciting year that lies ahead. We have many challenges that await us as a team, being prepared as well as we can, will give us every chance to overcome those hurdles that will confront us with the aggression and enthusiasm that is required. I am extremely excited as the new season approaches, as I have said on many occasions; we need to be the fittest, hardest and most skilled team in the competition, and combined with the right structures and game plans anything is possible. To achieve these goals, each and every one of us needs to be committed to improving our game, which begins with the right attitude to training. The recruiting of new players to our club has been exciting and at times very challenging. At this stage we have attracted several new players and I welcome them to the Eltham Football Club. We are still very active in the recruiting area and I hope to have some further exciting announcements to make in the near future. In closing, I wish everyone good luck and good health for the coming season, remember everything we do as an individual and as a group is for one common goal, the TEAM! Go Panthers! Brett Weatherald

NEWSLETTER February – March 2012

PRE SEASON TRAINING NIGHTS 2012

Monday & Wednesday 6pm – 8pm

Friday night TBC

Attendance records are kept and will influence team selection

for all practice matches.

First week back at training after Xmas and the New Year break has started with a positive attitude by all

training two nights a week at this stage, which will increase to 3 nights as we move forward.

I hope everyone had a good break, now is the time we all have to put our heads down and work extremely

hard to prepare ourselves for the demanding and exciting year that lies ahead. We have many challenges

that await us as a team, being prepared as well as we can, will give us every chance to overcome those

hurdles that will confront us with the aggression and enthusiasm that is required.

I am extremely excited as the new season approaches, as I have said on many occasions; we need to be

the fittest, hardest and most skilled team in the competition, and combined with the right structures and

game plans anything is possible. To achieve these goals, each and every one of us needs to be

committed to improving our game, which begins with the right attitude to training.

The recruiting of new players to our club has been exciting and at times very challenging. At this stage we

have attracted several new players and I welcome them to the Eltham Football Club. We are still very

active in the recruiting area and I hope to have some further exciting announcements to make in the near

future.

In closing, I wish everyone good luck and good health for the coming season, remember everything we do

as an individual and as a group is for one common goal, the TEAM!

Go Panthers!
