IC Production Manager Job Reference: Location London, UK Posted: EE05 03 Jul 2017 Weekly Hours 40.0 The Role At DNA Electronics Ltd, we are integrating cutting-edge semiconductor technologies with novel biochemical techniques to develop a new next generation sequencing (NGS) platform and associated molecular diagnostic applications. These systems comprise board-level electronics and custom mixed-signal integrated circuits designed by an in-house team of experienced electronic engineers. Responsibilities You will be a key contributor to development of the manufacturing processes for advanced custom ICs. As such, you will be expected to interact with manufacturing facilities in wafer processing, final assembly, and test that are based around the globe. You will be expected to work with other members in the EE team to deliver the best solution. You will have a significant customer facing experience and will be expected to attend client meetings. The supervision of both external and internal partners will also form an important part of the role. You will support of the internal customer on the legacy products which will form an important part of the role. You will be engaged in developing and bringing the company’s products towards volume production and meeting the relevant regulatory standards (EMC/EMI, ESD, etc.). The electronic systems developed must operate in relation to other aspects of the greater system (e.g. mechanical, microfluidic, and biochemical aspects) and to that end you should enjoy communicating, brainstorming, and solving challenges side-by-side with colleagues from other disciplines (e.g. biochemistry, micro-fluidics, industrial designers). You should have a practical, self-motivated approach to your work: creatively debugging and proactively overcoming design challenges. Above all else, we are looking for outstanding candidates who have the drive to learn, adapt, and solve difficult yet practical challenges. Qualifications & Experience Required: • Supply management experience (purchasing / supply chain) including responsibilities in

supporting yield, quality and cost reduction projects. •   Strong semiconductor manufacturing product experience •   Strong knowledge of IC packaging •   Supporting the ramp up of new products as well as improving test coverage •   Familiarity with the high-volume wafer fab environment •   Failure analysis experience •   Commitment to timely delivery of quality solutions; takes ownership of personal and team

tasks •   Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (English); team player •   Highly motivated and results driven •   Qualified to degree level in maths, physics, electronic, or mechanical engineering

Desirable: •   Responsibility for product ownership of devices after release •   Understanding of electrical analysis of ICs as well as qualification and characterization

of new ICs •   Experience in IC design •   Strong semiconductor IC test background and knowledge •   Team and/or project management experience •   Commercial awareness in management issues/decision-making
