The first time you tap on the app it will prompt you to configure the settings. The setting in this lesson isspecific to the Eduphoria server for our district.

The alphabet keyboard
After you tap in the Server URL field a keyboard will appear. You will use this keyboard to enter theURL. The shift key is automatically enabled. It has a white glow. We don't need the shift key enabled. Disablethe shift key by tapping on it once.

Finishing the URL
Use the keyboard to enter the rest of the URL You will need to go back and forth to the numberkeyboard to enter the period between eduphoria.yisd.net.

Logging in
The application will try to log in to the Eduphoria server after you tap the Done button.
The log in should be successful if you entered all the information correctly. If the application cannot login, check the information for the Server URL and make sure that the Use SSL option is turned off.Check your username and you might want to re-type your password again.

Select a campus
If you have access to observe more than one campus, select the campus where the teacher isassigned.

Select a teacher from the list you have for observation. If a teacher does not appear on this list, log ontoeduphoria's web site and assign this teacher to yourself for observation.
Create a new document

Navigating domains
To navigate between domains tap on each of the domain numbers at the bottom. This is the easiestway to get from one domain to the next. You can also use the next and previous buttons that appear atthe top. When you are on the first domain the Observation button is available instead of the previousbutton. You can tap the observation button to return to the assignment setup page and save yourobservation. Use the script notes button at the bottom to write some notes during your observation.

Ranking observation domains
The default rank for a domain is No Answer. Tap on the No Answer to change the ranking level.
Exceeds Ranking
The first ranking that appears when you tap the No Answer is Exceeds.

Campus option
If you are only performing observations at one campus then this option will not be available and you willinstead see a list of the teachers at your campus.

Selecting Teachers

Set Up Eduphoria on iPad
These instructions describe the process for setting up Eduphoria on an iPad. There is not program toinstall. You will create a bookmark link on the iPad so that you can easily access the Eduphoria website.
Launch Safari
Tap the Safari icon on your iPad.

Bookmark The Page
To Bookmark the page tap the icon immediately to the left of the address bar.
Add To Home Screen
Tap on the Add to Home Screen option.

At this point all you need to do is tap the Add button, but I like to clean up the name. Use the keyboardto remove that stray hyphen after the exclamation point.

The bookmark icon will be added to one of your screens that has an available space. Tap the icon to goto the Eduphoria PDAS page.
Login to Eduphoria
Enter your username and password. Tap the login button.
