PROJECTIONS FOR A FUTURE EDUCATIONAL SETTING-2017

• Students will gain most content based instruction through the use of mobile and tablet devices• Registration and attendance for grades k-12 will

skyrocket for online education• Textbooks will become scarce if present at all for

certain areas (considering economics a factor)• Topics will be app based with devices• Teachers will be remote• Low income areas will maintain status quo-remain

as they are now

LEARNING ONLINE

Page 13: Educational Vision

FUTURE STUDENTS

Trends• Future students will

use mobile/tablet devices in order to gain content knowledge• Email and web-based

learning will be primary means of communication and lessons

Page 14: Educational Vision

FUTURE TEACHERS

• Teacher will have to be more cognizant of technology, its applications, and how to leverage the use to accommodate a mass number of students• MOOC’s will need to be regulated as opposed to

teachers setting schedules• Higher education will bleed into secondary

education as students find interests quicker• Skill sets and problem solving will be increased

due to the technical traversing and mastering

Page 15: Educational Vision

OVERALL OUTCOMES

• The projection for the future of education is that students will have quicker and richer information• Learners will be able to cut out unnecessary work

to target mastery content• Higher level of comprehension will develop due to

the lack of politics and wasted time in a brick and mortar environment• Lower income school districts have the potential

of suffering the most• Lack of funds to streamline their educational programs
