Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Cleanup

than 38 million liters (more than 10 million gallons) of oil intoPrince William Sound. The resulting environmental damageprompted the United States Congress to pass federal safety

Student will have get a score higher that 80% todemonstrate he understood and retained the materialcovered.




Oil Spill Clean-up

Workers use special nets to clean up a California

beach following an oil tanker spill.




Activity Students will do a lab that will demonstrate how water

in rivers, oceans, and lakes can easily be polluted.

They will suggest different ways that can be used preventpollution.
